Swindon Town Vs Swansea City Predictions, Betting Tips & Match Preview

Swansea City spent much of last season with their future shrouded in uncertainty as Head Coach Francesco Guidolin was only given a short term contract. That has since been extended and now the Swans prepare for the new season with this pre-season trip to Swindon Town.

Guidolin has brought in new faces with the arrivals of Mark Birighitti, Leroy Fer and Mike Van Der Hoorn to build on what is already one of the most stable squads in the league. With Welsh football on a high after the exploits of the national side the Swans will want to capatilise on that momentum and start the season in strong form.

Swindon struggled for much of last season and will be disappointed with their 16th place finish. Despite hopes of a much stronger season this time around there has been worrying signs in the pre-season games played so far. Defeat to Championship side Reading was probably expected but Saturday’s 3-1 defeat away at non-league Woking will be cause for concern for Head Coach Luke Williams.
