Despite pre-season hopes of being able to secure a return to the Football League, Torquay have had a frustrating start to the season. They have struggled when on the road and currently sit in 15th position after seven games. Kevin Nicholson will have to figure out how to solve his side’s travel woes but he will be delighted with the form his side has shown at Plainmoor. Even though they have only had three games at home so far this season, two of their three wins this season has come while at home and on the one occasion they didn’t secure all three points, they were still able to come away with a draw.

After falling out of the Football League a few years ago Lincoln have struggled in the wilderness of non league but this season looks to be their best opportunity to climb back into the promised land. The Imps have been impressive so far this season and currently find themselves in third place. Given that much of this success has been built on the back of a strong attack it will be interesting to see how Lincoln adapt to life without Jonny Margetts, following his departure to Scunthorpe United.
