In-form hosts to secure another win

Lille are in form and look set to continue their winning habit away at Toulouse on Sunday. Bruno Genesio’s side secured a big win in their last Ligue 1 game and can get another victory at Stadium de Toulouse.

Lille beat Lens 3-0 in their last Ligue 1 game, with Hakon Haraldsson grabbing the opener on 44 minutes and Felix Correia and Matias Fernandez-Pardo also scoring. Lille restricted Lens to one shot on target and were comfortable winners, despite pre-game betting suggesting this would be a close match.

They are seven places above Toulouse in the table, with the two sides separated by 13 points. Lille are third, having won 15 and lost eight of their 28 games, while Toulouse are tenth with ten wins and 11 defeats.

Lille have scored in their last seven league games, although they only managed to find the net once in four of those. However, they have also scored two goals or more in three Ligue 1 games in a row.

Lille are in form, having won three straight Ligue 1 games on their travels. They have lost just one of their last eight league meetings with Toulouse and it’s eight games since they last tasted defeat.

Toulouse, on the other hand, are having defensive problems. They have failed to keep a clean sheet in seven of their last eight Ligue 1 games, including four of their last six at home.

A 2-1 win for Lille looks a decent correct-score bet. Both teams have found the net in seven of the last nine Ligue 1 games between these sides and Lille have won 2-1 on their last two road trips.
