Lens fancied to maintain unbeaten run

Lens still have an outside chance of securing a spot in a European competition for next season. Realistically Troyes are already safe. A point from the final two games of the season would mathematically ensure safety, but they probably won’t even require that – Troyes are six points clear of the drop zone with a superior goal difference to St. Etienne. Troyes have the sixth worst home record in Ligue 1 this season and don’t tend to score many goals in front of their own fans – Troyes have scored 18 times in their 18 home league games so far this season.

Lens are fancied to complete the league double over Troyes on Saturday. Lens in the outright market is the main selection for this one, the visitors will be keen to put pressure on the other teams chasing a Europa League spot. Both teams have scored in Lens last three away matches, this feat may be repeated on Saturday despite the hosts lack of goals at home this season. The correct score prediction for Saturday’s game at Stade de L’Aube will be for this to finish 2-1 to the visitors.
