Augsburg ahead in Europa Conference queue

The goal expectation may be too high for this mid-table Bundesliga clash between Hoffenheim and Augsburg on Sunday.

While Hoffenheim’s hopes of returning to European football may have died amid their current three-game losing run, Augsburg have scented an opportunity to grab a Europa Conference League berth. The Bavarians will no doubt be supporting Bayer Leverkusen in the cup final if they can keep hold of seventh spot.
