Udinese to Win

Reason for tip

Udinese are unbeaten across their last eight matches in all competitions and have won two of their three games across league and cup obligations this season. Como are yet to win in this campaign and come unstuck against the in-form hosts.

Udinese 2-1

Reason for tip

Each of Udinese’s two league matches this season have seen both sides find the back of the net which could open the door for Como to grab a goal after opening their account last weekend. However, that may be as good as it gets for the visitors with Udinese winning both of their two home matches across all competitions in this campaign.

Udinese vs Como Predictions

  • Udinese have not lost any of their last eight in all competitions
  • Como are yet to claim their first Serie A victory
  • Udinese won their last meeting with Como 3-2, back in 2003

Bianconeri to continue unbeaten run

After surviving relegation on the final day of last season thanks to a 1-0 win over Frosinone, Udinese have started the new campaign in impressive fashion and they can put another three points on the table with victory at home to Como.

The Bianconeri are currently on an eight match unbeaten run in all competitions and claimed their first win in Serie A last weekend – in an impressive 2-1 home victory over Lazio, despite playing nearly half an hour with ten men after Hassane Kamara was shown his marching orders.

Como’s return to the Italian top flight has provided a mixed bag of fortunes, with Cesc Fabregas’s side falling to a convincing 3-0 loss to Juventus in their season opener before grabbing a draw at Cagliari thanks to Patrick Cutrone’s second-half leveller.

Udinese’s impressive form should see the hosts take all three points in this encounter but it may not go all their way on Sunday. Each of their two Serie A fixtures this season have seen both teams score and so Como could grab a consolation, with a 2-1 final score drawing some appeal.
