Molde unbeaten run to continue

Defending champions Molde have a lot of ground to make up in the Eliteserien title race, but they have played a lot better in recent weeks and can extend their unbeaten sequence to four with a victory away to struggling Valerenga.

Molde climbed to fifth after Sunday’s 2-0 success at home to SK Brann, but they remained 12 points adrift of leaders Bodo-Glimt, who are going to be tough to peg back.

However, Erling Moe’s side are moving in the right direction and must surely fancy their chances against fourth-bottom Valerenga, who are sitting just a point above the drop zone.

Five of Valerenga’s seven league losses have come on home soil and another setback looks likely against Molde, who appear to be growing in confidence.
