Brazil to coast in Caracas

Brazil outclassed Venezuela 3-0 in the Copa America earlier this year and Tite’s side are tipped to ease their way past La Vinotinto again in Caracas this week.

This summer’s tournament ultimately ended in disappointment for Brazil, who lost the showpiece 1-0 in their own backyard to fiercest CONMEBOL rivals Argentina.

But in terms of qualification for Qatar 2022, Tite’s charges have been flawless so far, posting a perfect eight wins from eight and seven clean sheets to boot.

They take on a Venezuela side here who are winless in their last nine internationals, losing six of those and failing to net in five.

Friday’s hosts languish bottom of the standings after seven defeats from nine, and there really is nothing to suggest that they can earn anything from this tie.

Brazil have also kept clean sheets in their last four meetings with La Vinotinto; a trend which we foresee continuing in Caracas. The visitors are long odds-on for the victory, but backing a Brazil win to nil pays greater dividends at odds-against.
