Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Both West Brom and Burnley earned positive results in their opening Championship matches of the season and they can carry that momentum into a Hawthorns tussle. Both teams to score has been a winning bet in five of Burnley’s last six matches and, given the attacking quality in the squads, looks the selection again.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

Burnley showed great fight to battle back from 2-0 down against title favourites West Ham and another point is likely to be heading their way on Sunday. West Brom were impressive 2-1 winners at Norwich last Saturday but they did ride their luck, so a stalemate may have to do.

West Bromwich Albion vs Burnley Predictions

  • West Brom have lost only one of their last 13 games
  • Both teams to score has landed in five of Burnley’s last six matches
  • The Clarets have gone ten games without a clean sheet

Strong-starting sides to put on a show

Although they ended with a different number of points, both West Brom and Burnley will have been pleased with their Championship curtain-raisers after each causing a promotion rival all sorts of problems.

The Baggies landed one of the weekend’s standout results, winning 2-1 at red-hot Norwich, while Burnley staged a late comeback to draw 2-2 with title favourites West Ham.

Both will be full of confidence after those maiden outings and Sunday’s showdown at the Hawthorns should provide ample excitement as a result.

Hectic Hawthorns clash on the cards

James Morrison has West Brom playing some great stuff, with his 4-4-2 system creating plenty of chances for a dangerous front two of Aune Heggebo and Jimmy-Jay Morgan.

Burnley, meanwhile, really should have beaten West Ham. The Clarets had 17 shots to the Hammers’ 11 and there is more than enough talent at Nicky Hayen’s disposal to suggest they will find the net at the Hawthorns.

Both teams to score has been a winning bet in all four of this pair’s games this term and looks the standout selection.
