Degerfors vs IFK Varnamo Predictions, Betting Tips and Match Previews

Varnamo took maximum points from both games against Degerfors last season but it does feel like a bit of a role reversal has taken place since then. While Degerfors are again sitting comfortably in mid-table, Varnamo are having a miserable campaign and appear to have severely lost their way over the off-season.

The visitors have big problems in just about every department. They are the division’s lowest scorers with an average of just 0.6 goals per game, a figure that drops to just 0.2 on their travels. They also have the league’s joint worst defensive record with 2.1 goals per game conceded, a figure which rises to 2.4 on the road.

Therefore, we have very little reason to fancy them here. They’ve taken just one point away from home so far this term and backing a Degerfors Win certainly looks like it could be the smart move.

Going for Degerfors to Win to Nil could also be worth a punt. The odds available look very decent when you consider that Varnamo have failed to score in 80% of their away league games so far this term.
