Maidenhead United vs Eastleigh Predictions

We may still be early in the season but already sides will be targeting matches which they will go out all guns blazing for as they bid to add three points to their tally. This Tuesday evening at York Road we see two sides who will both believe that they are good enough to take all three points when Maidenhead United face off against Eastleigh, for a victory which could prove to be vital come the end of the campaign.

However, since then they won two and drew the other in their next three games and their points tally is looking much healthier. Visiting York Road is an Eastleigh side who had a pretty rough summer as their owner, Stewart Donald, decided to sell his stake in the club in order to take over Sunderland in League One. Whilst there has been turmoil in the boardroom, on the pitch the side have had a pretty mixed bag. They have won three of their eight outings so far, however, with the side losing the other five there is clearly issues which need to be addressed.

With neither side looking in particularly fluent form at the moment, we would advise to stay away from the win-draw-win market in this fixture. Instead, we think that the likelihood of goals in this clash means that backing there to be over 2.5 goals scored looks to be the way to go. We have already discussed the amount of goals scored in games involving the hosts, but when you also combine the fact that the sides have scored an average of 3.9 goals per game when they have met in the past, then goals seems to be a certainty.
