Barcelona Over 1.5 Team Goals

Reason for tip

Barcelona have scored 15 times across their last six matches and they have found the net at least twice in their last five visits to Osasuna. The visitors scored 1.84 goals per game last term and they meet an Osasuna side who have conceded twice in three of their last four, while the hosts shipped two or more goals to five of the six sides which finished above them last season.

Barcelona 3-1

Reason for tip

Barcelona shipped a few goals at Villarreal and Osasuna have scored in four of their last five matches. The visitors won 2-1 here last term but they should be able to open up a bigger lead after racking up six goals across their last two outings.

Osasuna vs Barcelona Predictions

  • Osasuna have conceded twice in three of their last four matches
  • Barcelona have scored six times across their last two La Liga matches
  • The visitors have scored twice in their last five visits to this ground

Barca hope to wrap up great weekend

After landing a double deal on transfer deadline day, Barcelona are out to cap off a great weekend in this visit to Osasuna. The Spanish champions added two Joaos – Cancelo and Felix – on loan deals as part of their La Liga title defence.

They also landed a comfortable Champions League draw on Thursday and head into Sunday’s clash off the back of consecutive league victories, so there’s plenty going Barca’s way right now. The same can’t be said for the hosts, who look likely to struggle.

Tough run for Osasuna

Osasuna were eliminated from Europe on Thursday, meaning their return to continental action peaked with a double-header against Club Brugge. The hosts lost 2-1 to the Belgian side in the home leg, which came just days after a 2-0 loss to Athletic Bilbao.

Osasuna could only manage a 2-2 draw in the return clash with Brugge, meaning they’ve conceded twice in three of their last four games. Last term they conceded twice in five of their six home clashes with the top six, while Barca averaged 1.84 goals per game.

The Catalans have responded from a 0-0 draw at Getafe with a 2-0 victory against Cadiz and a 4-3 success at Villarreal, so they look good for goals in Sunday night’s clash. The visitors have scored at least twice in their last five visits to Osasuna and they’ve scored 15 times across their last six meetings overall, so back them to score a couple.
