We feel that, despite their goal-scoring record, Villarreal will find it difficult to break down Osasuna this Saturday. Villarreal have managed to score more than 1 goal in just 1 of their 3 away games this season. This was when they travelled to face bottom-of-the-table Leganes, and beat them 3-0. 

Villarreal have scored almost 3 times as many goals at home as they have away from home this season. We feel that this game is unlikely to deliver a lot of goals. There have been under 2.5 goals scored in 6 of Osasuna’s 7 La Liga games this season. We feel that this game is also likely to deliver under 2.5 goals.

Villarreal’s away form, in terms of results, hasn’t been outstanding this season. Both of Villarreal’s La Liga losses have come away from home. Osasuna, on the other hand, are undefeated at home this season. They have drawn all 3 of their home games thus far. 

Osasuna have had the most draws of any team in La Liga this season, with 5 from 7 games. We feel that a 1-1 draw is a real possibility for this Saturday’s fixture.
