With Portsmouth also leaking plenty on the road and Norwich usually scoring well against bottom-six sides, the hosts should have enough.

Rotherham, along with Northampton and Port Vale, look set for relegation from League One after conceding eight goals without being able to reply in their last two matches. The Millers look set for more disappointment at home to playoff hopefuls Stevenage.

Sheffield United look the best bet at home to Swansea. Swansea are poor travellers, losing five of their last seven away games and struggling for goals on the road, blanking in three of the last four. United are scoring consistently, netting in 12 straight league matches, and Swansea’s defence has been leaky too, especially away, so the hosts have a strong chance to edge it.

Stockport have scored nine goals across their last three at home, and visitors Wycombe lost 2-0 at Leyton Orient in their last game. The hosts are looking strong after ending a run of defeats, and they can get the better of a Wycombe side that has lost three of their last five.

Wrexham look a good bet away at West Brom. They travel well, winning six of their last eight away league games, and they are scoring consistently, netting in eight straight and 18 of their last 19. West Brom are vulnerable at home, rarely keeping clean sheets, so Wrexham’s momentum and threat can end the hosts’ winning run.

Tondela have suffered seven defeats on their travels, and the second-bottom side are worth opposing here. Guimaraes have won all four of their home meetings with the bottom six, while they were 1-0 winners in the reverse fixture.

Coventry hammered Derby 5-3 in the first meeting in August and another entertaining battle is expected at the Coventry Building Society Arena. Derby have lost three of their last four away games and face the Championship’s best home team on Friday.

Sporting have scored 12 goals across their last four games, and they’ve picked up eight home wins by two clear goals this term. Santa Clara average under a goal per game on their travels, while Sporting have struck 36 goals in 12 home games this term.

Adelaide have only failed to score twice this season, and seven of their last eight games have seen BTTS land. The hosts have lost three of their five clashes with the sides above them, with BTTS landing in all five. The visitors have won six times on their travels, and they can pick up another win.

Chesterfield have lost their last two home games against Oldham and Shrewsbury, but this looks a good opportunity for them to get back to winning ways. Visitors Cheltenham have won just one of their last six League Two games and look vulnerable on their trip to Derbyshire.

PSG boss Enrique has seen his side score 16 goals in their last five home games and they hammered Toulouse 6-3 in their first meeting in August. Toulouse have conceded five goals in their last two away matches.

Both teams look likely to score in this one. That has happened in four of leaders Bromley’s last six league matches and Barnet should not be fearful about taking on the top dogs after wins over MK Dons and Cambridge in their last two games.

Both teams have scored in four of Barnsley’s last five games, and they head to a Burton side who need to make the most of their remaining home fixtures. The hosts beat Bradford 2-1 in their last home game, and they should trouble a Tykes side who have conceded in 23 consecutive matches.

Luton and Peterborough are separated by just one place in the League One table and they can combine to produce an entertaining contest at Kenilworth Road.  Both teams have scored in each of Luton’s last nine games and that pattern looks set to continue against the Posh.

Both of these teams are in strong form and that should mean goals at both ends. Notts County have won three of their last four away games in League Two and will be confident, even though Salford have tasted success in six of their last eight.

Burgos are pushing for promotion to the Spanish top flight and hold the third-best home record in the division. They have taken 16 points from the last 18 available at Estadio El Plantion, and another three-point haul is on the cards against Ceuta, who have lost five of their last six trips.

Both teams to score has landed in eight of Bahia’s last nine home games and more goals should be on the cards when Athletico PR visit Salvador, with the visitors scoring in ten successive away games but only keeping three clean sheets in that run.

They have lost their last six away games on the spin and hosts Rayo Vallecano are unbeaten in their last four home league games.

Manchester City lifted the EFL Cup before the international break and should keep their FA Cup hopes alive against Liverpool. The Reds have lost three of their last four away games and were beaten 3-0 here in November, while Pep Guardiola’s side have won seven of their last nine at the Etihad.

Verona are nine points adrift from Serie A safety and their situation is unlikely to improve against a resurgent Fiorentina outfit. La Viola are unbeaten in five games and look set to inflict a sixth defeat in seven games on their struggling hosts.

Monaco are only three points adrift of Marseille going into gameweek 28 in the Ligue 1 season and they are chasing a seventh successive league win. They have beaten Lyon, Lens, and PSG in this time and Marseille, who have lost three of their last five away games, could be Les Monegasques’ next victims.
