The European Tour heads to Jumeirah Golf Estates this week for the DP World Tour Championship and the PGA Tour action comes from the RSM Classic in Georgia.

Our golf expert Steve Palmer picked out an each-way double last week and returns with another winners double.

You can see his selections below, and don’t forget to check out our dedicated Golf Tips and the rest of our Sports Tips too!

DP World Tour Championship & RSM Classic Winners Double

Our double dabbles continue to threaten the jackpot – an each-way double on our 493/1 chance last week paid a pretty penny on the places for Min Woo Lee finishing fourth in the Dubai Championship and Scottie Scheffler sharing second spot in the Houston Open.

We go again this week with another each-way double attack – the odds this time are 146/1.

Former world number one Rory McIlroy can lead the way. McIlroy enjoyed an enormous confidence boost in the CJ Cup last time out, successfully fending off a fast-finishing Collin Morikawa to claim his 20th PGA Tour title.

McIlroy moved back into the top ten of the world rankings and appears to be relishing the years to come. Long-time coach Michael Bannon is back alongside him and McIlroy says he will be playing more on instinct in future, instead of getting bogged down in technical thoughts.

A more relaxed Rory seems extremely dangerous this week in the DP World Tour Championship – a tournament he has won twice before.

McIlroy’s record at the Earth Course venue is magnificent – he has placed seven times in ten starts – and he is also a two-time winner of the Dubai Desert Classic.

The 6/1 McIlroy can be paired with the 20/1 Cameron Smith for the RSM Classic. Smith is making his RSM debut, but the assignment seems ideal for him.

The Australian, who won the Sony Open in Hawaii last year, loves performing at seaside locations. He is superb in the wind and has a magic touch around the greens.

From the Olympics onwards, Smith has been in great nick, finishing fifth in the WGC-St Jude Invitational, runner-up in The Northern Trust, ninth in the CJ Cup and 15th in the Houston Open last week. Smith could take the RSM by storm.
