170/1 & 11/1 Tips for England vs Ghana & 50/1 on a goal to be scored

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.
After an 11/1 winner in England’s tournament opener, we’re looking for another success in their clash with Ghana on Tuesday.
In addition to our England vs Ghana predictions, where we have 20/1 & 11/5 selections, I’ve put together a massive sixfold bet builder for the game, along with a shorter 11/1 treble.
England vs Ghana Ultimate Bet Builder
Harry Kane to score
Kane opened the tournament with a brace, scoring from the penalty spot before getting on the end of a corner. He’s aiming to surpass Gary Lineker’s England scoring record at the World Cup, and he is in stellar form for his country.
He has 12 goals in 12 games under Tuchel, and he comes into this campaign after netting 61 goals for Bayern Munich across all competitions last season.
Jude Bellingham to make 3+ tackles
After Tuchel threatened his place in the England team, Bellingham looks much more engaged for the Three Lions. The midfielder often leads the press for England, and he should be key to closing down a Ghana side that didn’t make much effort to venture up the pitch in their opening clash with Panama.
Bellingham made three tackles in the win over Croatia, and his effort has been praised by his teammates since. Expect him to put in a shift again, and he’s backed to record another three tackles in this contest.
Antoine Semenyo to be carded
Manchester City winger Semenyo had a strong scoring record in the Premier League this term, but he also racked up seven cautions across the campaign for Bournemouth and City.
Six of those seven bookings came in his 20 appearances for the Cherries, and they all came away from home aside from a caution against Arsenal. That suggests that he may struggle in a Ghana side that won’t have a lot of possession, and he made two fouls in their tournament opener.
Declan Rice to make an assist
England are looking to lean on Rice’s ability to whip in corners, and he made the most of that in their opening game by finding Kane for their second goal.
Rice does offer more than just corners, creating four chances overall against Croatia. He finished qualifying with four assists, and he could match that tally at this tournament, given how well the Three Lions are playing in the final third.
Over 6.5 England corners
England’s focus on corners saw them finish with eight against Croatia, and this conservative Ghana side look set to give up plenty on Tuesday.
Ghana had just 38% possession against Panama, and they should look to sit deep again in Boston. Holding England at bay will be a much tougher test, and the Three Lions could rack up corners as a result.
Ezri Konsa to be fouled 2+ times
Konsa has a great record at drawing fouls, and Ghana’s forwards weren’t shy about getting stuck in during their opening match.
Konsa drew another two fouls against Croatia, and he drew two or more fouls in four of his six starts in qualifying. The defender has been fouled 22 times across 10 competitive starts for England at centre-half. He also drew 63 fouls for Aston Villa across all competitions last season, so back him for another two fouls.
