Almeria are in form at home and should be backed to continue their winning habit when Cadiz visit Juegos Mediterraneos on Sunday. Almeria have won their last four La Liga 2 games on home turf.

They are fifth in La Liga 2, one place above Cadiz, with both teams having won more games than they’ve lost this season. The hosts have six wins and two defeats, while the visitors have five wins and two losses.

Almeria kept up their recent winning trend two weeks ago, beating mid-table Eibar 3-1 in their last La Liga 2 game. Almeria had the game put to bed by half time, with Sergio Arribas, Alex Munoz and Adri Embarba all netting. They have now won five of the eight games in which they’ve scored first this season (63%).

Almeria will be hopeful of getting on the scoresheet here. It’s 15 games since they last failed to find the net, and they have scored in 31 of their last 33 league games.

Aiming for a third straight La Liga 2 success, Almeria have not tasted defeat in seven games, winning five of those. They have lost just one of their last six home games in the division.

Cadiz have been struggling for results lately, winning just one of their last seven La Liga 2 matches. They have not tasted victory in any of their last three away games and have won only once on their last ten road trips.

The visitors are struggling to score. Cadiz have not found a way to score in five of their last seven La Liga 2 games, including three successive away matches, and their last goal was against Burgos last month.

A narrow 1-0 win for Almeria looks the most likely outcome in the correct-score market. There have been under 2.5 goals in four of Almeria’s last six games in La Liga 2 and three of their six wins this season have come via a 1-0 scoreline.
