Barcelona to Win

Reason for tip

Barcelona have won four of their last five matches, scoring at least five times in each of those victories. The Catalan side have won six consecutive Champions League games following their incredible 5-4 win at Benfica, while Atalanta recently lost to Napoli and they were beaten by Real Madrid in August and December.

Barcelona 3-2

Reason for tip

Atalanta lost 3-2 to Real Madrid in December and they were beaten by the same scoreline by Napoli earlier this month. Barcelona have scored at least three times in their last six Champions League wins, but they’ve also conceded twice in three of their previous four in this competition.

Raphinha To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Raphinha is only a goal behind Robert Lewandowski in this season’s Champions League, having netted eight times in seven matches. He’s scored three times across their two games in the last week, while he’s found the net at least once in five of their last six Champions League matches.

Barcelona vs Atalanta Predictions

  • Barcelona have won four of their last five, scoring at least five goals in each win
  • Atalanta have won just two of six games in 2025
  • Barca have won their last six Champions League matches

Barcelona can win another thriller

Barcelona are second in the Champions League standings and they’re already through to the last 16. While they meet an Atalanta side who are in need of a win, the Catalans are in flying form and they’re worth getting behind at this price.

Barcelona have won their previous six Champions League games, while they’ve won four of their last five in all competitions, scoring at least five times in each of those victories. Their 7-1 mauling of Valencia at the weekend was a warning to rivals both at home and abroad, as Hansi Flick looks to guide them back into contention for major honours.

While Atalanta need the points more than their hosts, they’ve been beaten twice by Real Madrid this season and could fall short here. La Dea have won just twice in six games in 2025, seeing off Como and Sturm Graz. They’ve lost bigger tests in that run, losing to Inter Milan and Napoli, along with draws against Udinese and Juventus.

Barca are in great shape and while many big names could sit out, Raphinha is expected to feature. The Brazilian has a fantastic return in the Champions League so far, netting in five of his last six appearances. He’s scored eight times in the competition already and he’s backed to score in another win following last week’s heroics at Benfica.
