Barnet vs Cambridge United Predictions
Barnet host Cambridge this weekend in a clash of two of the most out of form sides in League Two at the moment and given the inconsistencies shown by each side, we are making the goalscorer market the home for our tip. Experienced Cambridge striker Barry Corr is our tip to score anytime, which is available at 2/1 with bet365. For our correct score prediction we think Cambridge will be able to turn their form around with a 2-1 away win and this is available at 17/2 with the same site.
It’s been a long road to recovery for 31-year-old striker Barry Corr, after a knee injury kept him out of the action for over a year but he is back playing again and he doesn’t look like he’s lost any of his ability. The Irishman has had his game time limited by Cambridge boss Shaun Derry but in his three appearances off the bench so far he has managed to hit the back of the net twice. The second came last weekend and triggered an unlikely comeback as the side turned around a 2-0 deficit to a 3-2 win.
With the fixture against Accrington called off in midweek, it has allowed Corr a bit more time to build his fitness on the training pitch and means he could be in line to make his first start of the season, but even if he is kept on the bench he has shown that he is perfectly capable to be his side’s ‘super sub’ so far.
John Akinde is the division’s top scorer and he is 13/10 to bag again, but with just three goals in his last 10 appearances we feel backing Corr represents some better value.
