FK Jablonec vs Rangers Predictions
- Jablonec have allowed only two goals in their last four Conference League matches
- Jablonec have conceded only three goals in their last seven matches
- Rangers have won only two of their six games this season
Rangers set for tight qualification test
Rangers fell in the qualification rounds of the Europa League and the Gers’ hopes of reaching the Conference League are pretty precarious.
Derek McInnes’ men were 1-0 winners over Czech side Jablonec at Ibrox last week and the Light Blues would have wanted a bigger advantage ahead of the return leg.
Rangers were clearly the better side at Ibrox, with the expected goals figures finishing 2.02 to 0.21 in favour of the Gers.
However, Cammy Devlin’s second-half red card stopped Rangers from fully exerting their superiority and now there is danger in the second leg.
McInnes’ new-look side has not convinced in the early part of the campaign, and while there may be better to come as the squad knits together, the time for Rangers to deliver is now.
Jablonec have conceded only three goals in their last seven matches and they have allowed only two strikes in their previous four matches in the Conference League.
Lubos Kozel’s men have to get back into the tie, but it’s likely to be a stand-firm approach for the Czechs and Rangers will also be looking to shut up shop. At the prices, taking under 2.5 goals rates the best play in this spot.
