A battle for survival

A current three-game unbeaten run in Bundesliga action has seen Bochum rise from the depths of the relegation zone into the less precarious position of 14th before a ball was kicked this weekend. Even so, the hosts haven’t scored from open play in their last 637 minutes, that’s almost 11 hours of play!

That run has raised the importance placed on Bochum’s set-piece routines and with four such goals across their last three games, they aren’t without a paddle.
