Defending champions on poor run

Bologna and Lazio are both struggling in Serie A and will be hoping this Coppa Italia quarter-final can kickstart their respective campaigns.

Bologna have won just two of their last 14 games in all competitions and have lost eight of those while Lazio have just two victories in their last nine league matches.

However Maurizio Sarri’s men have proven tough to beat, losing just two of their last 12 matches, and they may be worth siding with to get a result on the road against their struggling hosts.

Visitors could edge it

Lazio knocked Milan out of this competition in the round of 16 and have a better track record in the tournament overall, despite the fact that Bologna are defending champions.

Vincenzo Italiano’s men are also fresh from a 1-0 defeat to fierce rivals PArma so may struggle to pick themselves back up for this cup tie and given their recent form they are well worth taking on.

It’s hard to be overly bullish about Lazio’s chances given their propensity for stalemates as of late but it’s worth siding with them in the draw no bet market.  

Both teams to score has failed to land in any of the last five head-to-heads at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium and a 1-0 victory for Lazio is the correct score pick.
