Title challengers to battle it out

Botafogo looked to be cruising to the title in the Brazilian Serie A but they have taken just one point from the last 12 available and now are level on points with Palmeiras with a game in hand as they look to pull away from their wobble.

A controversial 4-3 loss to those opponents did look to rattle these hosts but their home record is impressive and they could bounce back.

They take on Gremio, who are now just three points behind the league leaders after winning four on the spin.
