Burnley vs Leeds Betting Tips & Predictions

Burnley are on a long 17 match unbeaten run in the Championship which has seen them ascend to the summit of the table with only 6 games to go. However there have been signs of one or two promotion jitters in the last few weeks. They’ve drawn all of their last 3 games allowing Brighton and Middlesbrough to close the gap on them. Two of those games were at Turf Moor against Wolves and Cardiff last time out so there will certainly be a few nerves when Leeds come to town on Saturday.

The Yorkshiremen may be wise to follow the approach of recent visitors to Turf Moor who have been fairly cautious and stifled Burnley’s attacking play. Cardiff got a 0-0 draw here last time out and there have been under 2.5 goals in all of Burnley’s last 6 home games. They have won 3 of those 6 matches by 1-0 margins and those could all be crucial points come the end of season reckoning. This could be another tight game but with Burnley’s extra quality you have to fancy them to just sneak it. For that reason consider backing Burnley to win 1-0 at 5/1.
