Cardiff vs Huddersfield Betting Tips

After a poor season last time around, Cardiff could be real contenders this year under Russell Slade, who will be very content with the start they have made. The Terriers may have had some tough fixtures and at least haven’t been outclassed by anyone but nor have they offered enough to suggest they could seriously trouble Cardiff. The hosts are quite long at 21/20 to win given the contrasting form of the two sides and their home advantage. They certainly look to be worth a punt at those odds.

The Bluebirds were very comfortable 2-0 winners at home to quite a strong Wolves side last time out at the Cardiff City Stadium and there is no reason to think they can’t put in a repeat performance here.

Huddersfield have only scored 3 Championship goals in 5 outings this season and if anything seem a little more cautious in their approach this term. They may struggle to break down Cardiff’s defence here and there is value in backing Cardiff to win 2-0 again at odds of 8/1.
