CFR Cluj vs Young Boys Predictions

Young Boys head to Romania to face CFR Cluj in the third round of Champions League qualifying on Tuesday and we think the Swiss side can secure a victory.

Cluj have made hard work of Champions League qualifying so far as they scraped through against Bosnia’s Borac Banja Luka 4-3 on aggregate, before beating Gibraltarian minnows Lincoln 4-1 over the two legs.

Swiss champions Young Boys are a massive step up in class and they head into this fixture in fine form after an unbeaten start to the season.  Admittedly, the Bern outfit haven’t quite hit the heights they managed last term and they have been held to two draws in their first four games, but we feel they will have too much quality for Cluj on Tuesday regardless.

We’re backing Young Boys to pick up a victory and a 3-1 success for the visitors appeals as they have managed 10 goals in their last three away games, and Cluj are yet to fail to score at home after three games so far this season.
