This is a really big game for both sides you feel and one that could ultimately have a big bearing on their destiny. Poland are the favourites to win this group ahead of Romania but Denmark and Montenegro will be hoping to get in the mix and victory here would go a long way to ensuring that happens.

Montenegro have made an excellent start to qualifying and currently top the group, thanks to a draw in Romania in their first game prior to a convincing 5-0 win over Kazakhstan on Saturday in Podgorica. They’ve gone through a bit of a rough year or two and that victory was their first in over 12 months but certainly in the 2nd Half it seemed as though their confidence came flooding back and with Steven Jovetic in the side, they have a real attacking threat. He often performs better for country than club, seemingly thriving on the added responsibility of often being both captain and star player of this side and they are pretty solid at the back too with Atletico Madrid centre-back Stefan Savic marshalling things.

They have enough to come here and get a result against a Danish side that isn’t going through a golden era in their football history. Christian Eriksen aside they are bit short on genuine quality. Denmark have drafted in quite a few younger players into their squad of late and look to be building more towards Euro 2020. They were blown away by a Robert Lewandowski inspired Poland on Saturday, falling 3-0 down in less than 50 minutes, but they did grab a couple of consolation goals to add some respectability to the score.
