Desportivo Aves vs Famalicao Predictions

Aves were defeated 5-1 away at Rio Ave last weekend and must put in a much-improved performance on Saturday if they wish to take anything off a Famalicao side that have started the season brightly. The visitors 1005 start to life in the top flight came to an end last time out as they drew 1-1 at Vitoria Guimaraes but Famalicao remain second in the table behind Sporting.

Both teams scored in Falamicao’s last away game against Vitoria Guimaraes and after picking up four points from their two away games so far this season, the visitors will be expected to pick up at least a point on Saturday and this is where we feel their downfall could be. Aves head into the match on the back of a heavy defeat and will be looking to respond positively, while Famalicao surprised many with their excellent start to the season and the pressure is on the visitors to keep that run going against a side that have lost two of their three league games so far.
