Dinamo Zagreb are dominating Croatia at the moment. They won the Croatian top flight last seasn after going the entire campaign unbeaten in the league, and they haven’t lost at all since their Europa League exit last year.

This is a run that stretches back 41 games, a run that rivals Arsenal’s unbeaten season over ten years ago.

This unsurprisingly puts them at the top of the Croatian league with 19 points from their opening nine league games.

But the opposition they have been facing in Croatia is sub par when you compare them to the likes of Arsenal, and I think this will be the biggest threat to Dinamo Zagreb’s unbeaten run so far.

They last time they lost was against Astra in the Europa League last November, and they also lost to Salzburg twice and Celtic once in their group stage matches.

Arsenal haven’t exactly been losing regularly either. Their 2-0 loss at home to West Ham on the opening day of the Premier League season is their only defeat in the last 14 matches, and they have won ten of those games.

They picked up a fairly comfortable win at home to Stoke City on Saturday, following on from efficient, if unspectacular, victories against Newcastle and Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

This puts them in 4^th position in the Premier League with ten points from their opening five games.

These two sides did meet in this competition back in 2006, with Arsenal defeating them in both group matches.

Dinamo Zagreb have been pretty good at the back lately, managing to only concede three times in their last six matches, a record which Arsenal also hold.

This makes me lean towards an Under 2.5 Goals market, especially with Arsenal being away from home and lacking in attacking threat recently. Odds of 1/1 for Under 2.5 Goals look like really good value as well, so that’s what I’m backing along with a 1-0 Arsenal win at 6/1.
