Can Aue pull off a shock?

Third-tier Erzgebirge Aue begin their DFB Pokal campaign with a very tough assignment, a home encounter with top-flight opponents Mainz.  The hosts come into this clash on the back of a poor 2021/22 which ended in relegation, they couldn’t win in their opening game in 3.Liga either, so confidence is not high.
