FC Cartagena have never played in La Liga, but they currently sit in seventh place in the Spanish Segunda, just two points outside of the play-offs, after a run of three wins in four games.

Their home form has been pretty solid, wracking up seven wins and just three defeats, one of which was last time out against Huesca.

Previously, though, Luis Carrión’s side had won seven of their last nine on home soil, keeping an impressive four clean sheets in the process.

Fuenlabrada in trouble

Fuenlabrada are another club who might not be in the Segunda next year, but that is because they are currently battling against relegation, sitting three points from safety in 19th place.

They have one of the worst away records in the division, winning just once in 11 attempts, while they have only managed to score six goals.

Sergio Pellicer’s side have not won in ten league games on the road and have lost six of their last eight, picking up just one point against sides ranked seventh or higher.

This game should end in a home win, so I predict Cartagena will come out on top, and given Fuenlabrada’s obvious goal scoring problems, I select 2-0 to the hosts as a correct score prediction.
