Schalke 04 moved up to fourth in the Bundesliga after a priceless 2-1 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach in the last match before the international break. Schalke may have climbed a few places in the table over the last few weeks, but looking forward they have arguably the more demanding schedule than their direct rivals also competing for a coveted UEFA Champions League place, with matches against FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund lurking on the horizon.
