Finland vs Faroe Islands Betting Tips

Finland piled the misery on a disappointing Greece side on Friday when substitute Joel Pohjanpalo snatched a 75^th minute winner for the visitors.

Greece had a massive advantage in both possession and attempts on goal, with them being in control of the ball 65% of the time and taking 21 shots without success.

This leaves Finland with seven points from their first seven games, with a draw at home to Greece and a win against the Faroe Islands making up their points.

I would expect the Faroe Islands to shut up shop and try to nick a point in this match, but it’s doubtful that their weak defence can hold any team out for a whole 90 minutes.

Finland also have the advantage when it comes to historical results, with them comfortably winning all three of their previous fixtures against the Faroe Islands. They have scored 12 goals and conceded once in these three games, although two of them were played over 20 years ago.

The Faroe Islands have looked better in defence this year, and seem to simply park the bus when they’re away from home and go into damage limitation mode. They limited Romania to one goal, and they’re up against a Finnish side who have been struggling for goals recently.
