Dons to continue late-season flourish
MK Dons have been one of the form sides in League One over recent months, as only table-topping Hull have collected more points across the last 10 games than the Dons’ total of 22.
Indeed, Russell Martin has seen his side pick up seven wins during that time, including a run of three successive victories to nil, culminating with last week’s 5-0 thrashing of Swindon.
That impressive run of form means the Dons still have an outside chance of sneaking into the playoffs, but they must beat Fleetwood on Saturday to keep those hopes alive.
Fleetwood’s season appears to be petering out following three defeats across their last four games, including last weekend’s 5-2 thrashing at Burton.
Simon Grayson’s side have also lost three of their last four matches on home soil, failing to score in any of those defeats.
Scoring goals has certainly been a problem for Fleetwood of late, as they have netted just eight times across their last 10 league games.
We cannot see that record improving on Saturday and we are predicting an MK Dons victory to nil, with our overall score prediction being for a relatively routine 2-0 success for the visitors.
