Germany vs Georgia Betting Tips

Germany missed an opportunity to secure the group when they lost in Ireland on Thursday night. It’s been a strange qualifying campaign for the World Champions. They struggled mightily at the start of group play and they’ve lacked a killer edge at the end. Surely a game against visiting Georgia should make locking up this group all but guaranteed. No one is seriously considering the possibility of Germany not finishing in the top two, but defeat to Georgia could drop them to third.

Georgia were the guilty party in disrupting Scotland’s qualifying campaign, beating the Scots 1-0 earlier in September. They’ve also beaten Gibraltar twice, though that’s not much to talk about. Still, in general they’re a weaker team away from home and they’ve lost six out of nine games for good reason.

This game won’t get too many views, but there’s still a job for Germany to do and we expect them to take Georgia very seriously.

1. Germany bounce back

They’ll be disappointed by defeat to Republic of Ireland and we expect Joachim Low to fire this team up for this game. They’ll want to make a statement in this match-up after an indifferent campaign.

2. Georgia aren’t good

They’ve only lost one group game by more than three goals so far, but they haven’t travelled to face Germany yet. We just can’t see them keeping the Germans at bay here.

Difficult to get quality odds on anything. We don’t think Georgia will score a goal and we’re getting better than even odds on Germany picking up a big win.
