Barcelona and Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Barcelona are unbeaten in La Liga this season, but they are vulnerable defensively on the road, keeping just one clean-sheet in their last eight away assignments in the league. Struggling Granada have managed to score in six of their eight league matches this season.

Barcelona 3-1

Reason for tip

Barcelona are La Liga’s only unbeaten side but they have conceded in seven of their last eight away matches in the league. Granada have scored in six of their eight league assignments this term, but also concede plenty. A repeat of Barca’s 3-1 victory at Nuevo Los Carmenes in 2015 could be on the cards.

Granada vs Barcelona Predictions

  • Barcelona have only kept one away clean-sheet in eight La Liga matches
  • Granada have conceded in all of their home matches in 2023/24
  • Both teams have scored in each of the last four meetings between the two sides

Barca to win open match

Barcelona are the only side yet to taste defeat in La Liga this season, but they have been vulnerable defensively on their travels, keeping just one clean sheet in their last eight league matches on the road.

That could give struggling Granada hope heading into this contest, with Paco Lopez’ side having scored in six of their eight league matches this season, but they also hold the joint-worst defensive record in the division.

Granada have also conceded in all of their home matches this season, losing two of those four assignments and another defeat could well be on the cards when Barca come to town.

Goals usually flow in this contest

Surprisingly, it is Granada that have enjoyed the better of the recent meetings between the two sides, as they are unbeaten in the last three head-to-heads, claiming two draws and a win.

The goals also tend to flow when these two lock horns, as both teams have scored in each of the last four encounters, while Barca have netted six times on the bounce against Granada.

Barca were 3-1 winners at Nuevo Los Carmenes in 2015 and that result appeals on Sunday given the visitors’ impressive form and Granada’s tendency to concede.
