Opener is a must-win affair for Iceland

Iceland look to have their work cut out to get out of a World Cup qualifying group that contains 2022 runners-up France and Ukraine, so a home win over Azerbaijan has be regarded as essential.

The motivation should be there to do just that as they look to put the disappointment of Nations League relegation behind them, and they should be positive just four days before they face a daunting trip to Paris.

Azerbaijan look to carry little threat
