Inter won’t dwell on their Euro dismay

Inter Milan should bounce back from their midweek Champions League elimination when they take on a Napoli side that also saw their European dreams shattered on Tuesday.

The Nerazzurri were knocked out on penalties after a 2-1 second-leg defeat at Atletico Madrid while Napoli succumbed in a different manner –  simply being bamboozled by Barcelona’s brilliance.

Inter should not dwell on the disappointment for long as they close in on their 20th Serie A crown that would earn them a second star for their jerseys. Simone Inzaghi has built a superb squad of players that have churned out a remarkable series of results since their last league defeat in September.

Partonopei have failed to score in four of seven on the road

They have won their last nine home games and scored two or more goals in seven of them with only Roma and Juventus having been capable of limiting the damage during that spell.

The Partonopei did manage a big win at lowly Sassuolo in their last away Serie A test, but they failed to score in four of the previous six road trips.

Hence, it looks wise to back Inter to win without conceding in this clash and a 2-0 scoreline could well be on the cards as Inzaghi’s side roll on to another three points.
