Goals should flow at Stade Oceane

Over 2.5 goals looks like the bet when Le Havre host Paris Saint-Germain at Stade Oceane on Saturday. PSG have scored in nine consecutive games, including a 5-0 victory over Marseille three weeks ago, and are sure to find the net here.

Le Havre are 13th in the table, having won six, drawn eight and lost nine of their 23 games this season, while leaders Paris Saint-Germain have 17 wins, three draws and three defeats.

Le Havre have won their last two Ligue 1 home games, beating Toulouse 2-1 two weeks ago, but Paris Saint-Germain have been winners on four of their last six away days and have won 12 of their last 15 league matches, including a 5-0 win over Marseille.

Paris Saint-Germain bounced back in style from defeat by Rennes two weeks ago, beating Metz 3-0 to keep up their recent pattern of games with over 2.5 goals. Desire Doue scored the opening goal in the third minute, with Bradley Barcola and Goncalo Ramos also finding the net. PSG, who were 1/8 to win the game, have now won 14 of the 20 matches in which they have been odds-on this season. They didn’t allow Metz a single shot on target.

The last four Ligue 1 meetings between these sides have all finished with three or more goals, and over 2.5 goals looks the best bet here.

Both teams have been struggling defensively. Le Havre have failed to keep a clean sheet in ten of their last 12 Ligue 1 games, while Paris Saint-Germain have gone three of their last four games against Le Havre without recording a shutout.

Paris Saint-Germain have won four of their last six away games in Ligue 1, and a 2-1 win for the visitors looks like a decent correct-score option.
