Leicester City vs Nottingham Forest Predictions
- Under 2.5 goals has landed in eight of Nottingham Forest’s nine competitive games this season.
- Leicester have seen fewer than three goals in three of their four home matches.
- Chris Wood has scored in five of his last six outings for club and country.
Foxes look to build on excellent win
Leicester produced a remarkable comeback to beat fellow newly-promoted side Southampton last weekend, but they may struggle to produce a similarly impressive attacking performance against a more resilient Nottingham Forest side.
Prior to their three-goal haul on the south coast, the Foxes had scored just nine goals in seven games and they are coming up against a visiting side with one of the best defensive records in the Premier League.
Tricky Trees impressive so far
The Tricky Trees, against all odds, sit eighth in the table with 13 points from eight games, and their six goals conceded gives them the second-best defensive record in the entire division.
However, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have only scored eight times at the other end, and that points towards a low-scoring affair at the King Power Stadium this Friday.
Goals in short supply as Forest come to town
Under 2.5 goals has landed in eight of Forest’s nine competitive matches this season, and the points could be shared at Leicester.
Forest have played out five draws in all competitions this season and four of those have ended 1-1, while Leicester have drawn four of their ten competitive matches and two of their four Premier League home games have ended 1-1, making that the perfect correct score prediction.
Despite not expecting many goals, Chris Wood is still worth a look in the anytime goalscorer market. He has scored five of Forest’s eight goals this season and scored the winner against Crystal Palace last time out, meaning he has now found the net in five of his last six games for club and country.
