Osasuna have a chance at Liverpool

Liverpool take on Osasuna in a pre-season friendly on Monday as Jurgen Klopp’s men face Spanish opponents for the second time in two days.

The Reds played out a 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.  The likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson and Diogo Jota all started against the Basque club and they could use the game against Osasuna to give their fringe men a run-out.

Liverpool have been strong at home in the summer with three wins in as many attempts prior to the draw with Bilbao but if they do field a weakened starting XI against Osasuna on Monday they could come up short.

The Gorritxoak finished in mid-table in La Liga last term and have enjoyed a perfect summer so far, with six wins in six games in pre-season.

Osasuna can use that momentum to get a result at Anfield and we think there is value in getting behind the Spanish side in the double chance market, while a 2-1 win for the visitors has some appeal in the correct score market.
