Lokomotiv Moscow vs Skenderbeu Betting Tips

Lokomotiv Moscow picked up a surprising three points in their opening game of the Europa League group stages when they visited Sporting CP and came away with a 3-1 victory under their belts.

Their goals came courtesy of two of their most prolific players, with right winger Alexander Samedov bagging two goals and lone striker Omar Niasse rounding off the victory with the third goal.

This put the Russian side back on the right track after they had incurred their first loss in seven games when Rubin Kazan beat them.

Since that defeat they have won three and drawn one of their four matches, with their only blip coming on Saturday against league leaders and arch rivals CSKA Moscow.

This was their chance to gain ground on the leaders, but the 1-1 draw sees the 2^nd place side remain five points behind CSKA after ten games.

Skenderbeu remain at the top of the Albanian Superliga after maintaining their perfect start to the league season.

They have won all five of their Superliga games so far, scoring 12 goals and only conceding twice.

The same can’t be said of their start in the Europa League. They lost their opening group game 1-0 at home to Turkish side Besiktas.

I can’t see Skenderbeu getting anything from this game either. Lokomotiv Moscow are a much better team and they have already shown that they mean business in the competition this season.

The bookies are obviously in agreement as well, with odds for a home win being a very short 1/7. However, considering Lokomotiv have only conceded once in their last three games I think odds of 8/13 for Lokomotiv to Win to Nil look very good. I’m also going for a 3-0 Lokomotiv win at odds of 5/1.
