Maidenhead United vs Woking Predictions

Maidenhead United lost 2-1 away at Boreham Wood last time out and have now failed to win any of their last four matches in all competitions, while Woking were held to a goalless draw at home by Halifax Town and sit one point outside the playoff places.

All of the stats suggest that a double chance bet on the visitors is the best way to go this weekend and we’ve backed Woking to claim a narrow 2-1 win.

Maidenhead have only won two of their ten home games this season and have lost five while Woking have only lost two of their ten away games this season and have won five, so you can begin to see why we’re backing the visitors with a double chance bet this weekend.

The hosts have lost their last three matches in all competitions and are without a win in their last three league games, while Woking have only lost two of their last six matches in league and cup but have also only won once which is why we have backed a double chance bet rather than an outright win for the visitors.

The performances of both clubs only add weight to our prediction for a 2-1 final scoreline in Woking’s favour, as both teams have scored in 60% of Maidenhaead’s home matches as well as in 80% of Woking’s away games. Over 2.5 goals have been produced in 60% of Woking’s away games and the visitors have scored 18 goals on the road and only conceded 12, while Maidenhead have only scored 10 goals at home and conceded 11.

The visitors score an average of 1.8 goals per away game and their hosts score an average of 1 goal per home game, which provides even more reason to back a 2-1 win for Woking this weekend. Woking have outperformed their hosts so far this season and have played much better on the road than they have in their own backyard, but having drawn three of their last six matches we had to go with a double chance bet instead of backing the visitors to win outright.

We’re confident that a double chance bet on Woking will payout this weekend and we have predicted a final scoreline of 2-1. Woking sit above Maidenhead in the National League table and have a good away record this season, while their host have struggled in their own backyard with just two wins from ten home games. We’re backing a 2-1 win for Woking and believe that a draw is the best Maidenhead can hope for this weekend which is why we have gone with a double chance bet on the visitors.
