Can Mallorca kick on?

Mallorca ended a run of four games without a win when they picked up a surprise 2-1 victory at Valencia last time out – but clean sheets have proved to be a problem.

Javier Aguirre’s side have only managed one shut out in their last eight matches, of which just two have ended in victory.

Espanyol on a dire run

Mallorca aren’t the only team struggling for form at the moment, with Espanyol having won just two of their eleven outings this season.

That means the pressure is already piling on Diego Martínez, who only took charge in the summer, with both teams having netted in seven of those fixtures.
