      Malmo FF to Win

      Reason for tip

Malmo have won their last seven matches in all competitions and they can edge out Danish raiders Copenhagen in the Champions League on Tuesday. The pair have met only twice, in the Europa League in 2019, with the first match finishing 1-1 in Sweden before Malmo clinched a 1-0 away win, and back on home soil they are fancied to secure another narrow victory.

      Malmo FF 1-0

      Reason for tip

Malmo beat Copenhagen 1-0 the last time they met six years ago and a repeat scoreline is fancied this week. Both sides are in great nick and a tight encounter looks likely, with the Swedish side looking the value bet to nick it on home soil.

FC Copenhagen vs Malmo FF Predictions

      • Malmo have won their last seven matches in all competitions, while Copenhagen have won their last eight
      • Copenhagen have never beaten Malmo in two attempts
      • Malmo won 1-0 when these two last met, the other meeting finished 1-1

Swedes can edge to first-leg lead

A mouthwatering clash is in store on Tuesday when Scandinavian giants Malmo and Copenhagen meet in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

Both sides are in fantastic form and this contest could swing either way, but our prediction is for a narrow home win in Sweden.

Malmo’s unbeaten run stands at ten and they have won their last seven matches in all competitions, but Copenhagen make the trip boasting even better form.

The Danish champions haven’t lost since mid-April, a run stretching 12 matches. They have won all five outings in this campaign and will fancy their chances of recording a first win over these opponents.

However, Malmo haven’t lost on home soil since the start of May and Henrik Rydstrom’s men have kept clean sheets in four of their last six outings at their Swedbank Stadion stronghold.

Copenhagen have had no issue scoring on the road recently, but Malmo look the toughest team they have faced in their schedule, so a cagey home win looks a likely outcome.

Backing a 1-0  scoreline looks the best option for correct-score punters.
