      Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

Both teams to score looks the standout bet when Mansfield host Luton. Five of Mansfield’s last seven League One matches have seen both sides find the net, as have each of Luton’s last four. The visitors have also scored in 19 of their last 20 league games, while Mansfield are unbeaten in eight at home and should provide plenty of resistance.

      Draw 1-1

      Reason for tip

There is little to separate two sides who have started strongly. Mansfield are unbeaten in eight League One home games, while Luton have won seven of their last nine matches. The hosts drew 17 times last season, with seven of those ending 1-1, and another share of the spoils appeals given the recent goalscoring trends of both teams.

      Mansfield Town vs Luton Predictions

      Goals expected at Field Mill

Luton and Mansfield are both backed to get on the scoresheet when they meet at Field Mill on Sunday. Luton played out a 2-2 draw with Notts County in their last League One game last weekend, and there is every chance that there will be goals for both teams in this one.

Luton finished seventh last season, with 74 points from 21 wins, 11 draws and 14 losses, while Mansfield ended up in tenth place, having won 16 games, drawn 17 and lost 13 times.

Mansfield have gone eight home games unbeaten in League One and beat Doncaster 2-1 two weeks ago, while Luton have won seven of their last nine matches and beat Reading 4-3 in their last away game two weeks ago.

Five of Mansfield’s last seven League One games and each of Luton’s last four have seen both teams score, and the last time these two met in the division in April ended with both teams having scored by the break.

Goals have proved easy to come by for Luton lately, with the visitors having scored in 19 of their last 20 league games.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking a decent correct-score bet. Mansfield had 17 League One draws last term and seven of them finished 1-1, while both sides have scored in Luton’s last three matches.
