Plucky Ferencvaros can continue red-hot run

Hungarian outfit Ferencvaros have knocked both Celtic and Dinamo Zagreb out of Champions League qualifying so far and victory over Molde in the first leg of their playoff tie could put them in touching distance of Europe’s major tournament.

Ferencvaros have looked red hot since the start of their qualifying campaign, winning their last six matches across all competitions, having flexed their goal-scoring muscle domestically with 5-0 and 6-1 wins over Paksi and Rackeve respectively.

The same cannot be said for Molde, though, with the Norwegians having lost successive league matches to Viking and Valerenga either side of edging Qarabag on penalties in their previous Champions League qualifying round.

We therefore predict a win for the visitors but, as Ferencvaros have conceded in four of their previous five wins, a 2-1 success could be the way to play it in the correct score market.
