Auxerre are fighting hard to stay up, and their recent run of four league games without defeat has seen them climb out of the relegation places, albeit on goals scored, due to equal goal difference between themselves and Ajaccio.

This run of good form follows a terrible run for the club in which they suffered seven straight defeats, including 5-0 losses to both PSG and Toulouse, and two 3-2 defeats to Monaco. Unfortunately for Auxerre, this poor run could be set to return, with the form of Nice looking too much to overcome, and as a result, a 2-0 scoreline in favour of the hosts looks likely here.
