Fulham to Win

Reason for tip

Forest are winless in their last six Premier League matches while Fulham have won four and drawn one of their last eight away league trips. The Cottagers have won six of their last seven games against Forest, who have scored just once in their last five home league games.

Fulham 1-0

Reason for tip

Fulham have won four of their last eight away league games with three of those victories coming by one goal. Forest have scored just once in their last five home league games and may struggle to penetrate a visiting defence that has only conceded five goals in their last five games. One goal may be enough for Fulham if Forest are jaded from their midweek exertions.

  • Forest have scored just once in their last five home league games

Whites have the tools to take points at Forest

Fulham’s steady away form suggests they have the tools to take advantage of a fatigued Nottingham Forest side at the City Ground on Sunday.

Vitor Pereira’s men return to league action just 66 hours after a draining Europa League defeat to Midtjylland — their fourth loss in five games — despite dominating possession and carving out the better chances. The early bounce from Pereira’s 3-0 win over Fenerbahce has evaporated, replaced by a familiar sense of frustration as Forest continue to struggle in both boxes.

Marco Silva’s side are not without issues of their own after back‑to‑back 1-0 defeats to Southampton and West Ham, but their away form has been a bright spot. Fulham have won their last two road trips and claimed a 2-1 home victory at Tottenham earlier this month, a result that underlined their ability to hurt teams in transition.

Midweek misses could take a toll on hosts

Forest’s squad is stretched again. Jair Cunha is a major doubt after limping off on Thursday, while Dan Ndoye remains uncertain after missing the Midtjylland clash. Long‑term absentees Chris Wood and John Victor remain sidelined, and there is still no clarity on whether Nicolo Savona will feature again this season following knee surgery.

Stefan Ortega is nearing a return from a calf issue, but the somewhat error-prone Matz Sels is expected to keep his place between the posts. Fulham have fewer concerns with Player of the Year contender Harry Wilson in contention as long as he passes a late fitness test.

Forest created enough chances to win comfortably on Thursday, but the emotional and physical toll of that performance cannot be ignored. With key players doubtful and confidence fragile, sustaining intensity for 90 minutes looks a tall order.

Fulham pulling in the same direction

Fulham are not firing on all cylinders, but their usual intensity levels and solid away form give them a clear edge in what should be a tight, low‑scoring contest. Forest have beaten Fulham just once in seven Premier League meetings, losing six, so they should travel to Nottingham with plenty of belief.

Silva’s side have been a bit hit and miss of late, but they are all pulling in the same direction and that cannot be said about Forest, whose players have played a part in at least two managerial changes this season

The visitors get the vote in match result betting and may find that one goal is enough for three points against a Forest side that has scored only once in their last five home games and not kept a league clean sheet since early January.
