      Leeds to Win

      Reason for tip

Leeds can clinch the title with a victory and should do so convincingly. They’ve scored in nine straight games and led at the break in 20 of their 28 wins. Plymouth have blanked more than any other Championship side and look likely to fall behind early.

      Leeds 2-0

      Reason for tip

Leeds have won 2-0 ten times this season and boast the league’s best defence. With Plymouth blanking in 19 of their 45 games, a clean sheet is probable, and Leeds’ class should tell in a comfortable, professional win.

      Plymouth Argyle vs Leeds Predictions

Whites to seal the title at Home Park

Leeds know a victory will see them seal the Championship title and they should be backed to do so in some style by them leading at half-time en route to picking up maximum points at Home Park.

Leaders Leeds are on course for the title, with 28 wins from their 45 games this season, while Plymouth are 23rd having won just 11 times.

Plymouth have won four of their last six Championship matches, including a 2-1 win over Sheffield United, and are going for a third successive win but it’s not going to be enough to see them fight off relegation. Leeds, on the other hand, have not lost in nine games.

Plymouth’s struggles in front of goal could be decisive. No team has failed to score in more Championship games this season than the hosts, who have blanked 19 times in 45 matches. In contrast, Leeds have scored three goals or more in 14 of their games this season and have netted in nine consecutive matches, including a recent 6-0 thrashing of Stoke.

A 2-0 away win for Leeds looks a decent option for correct-score bettors. Ten of Leeds’ 28 victories this term have been by a 2-0 scoreline, and with 29 of their 45 league games ending with at least one side failing to score, there is every chance of another low-scoring defeat for Plymouth.
